was thinking of adding a few extra for trail riding to keep her cool ..anybody made there own ? and pics ? or a place that is real cheap to buy them ? imade 2 for the front foot well area where the useless doors were out of roof gutter plastic looks nice and saved me $60 over the ones they sell for that area.

i made some vents where the foam was on the console (dont havea pic at the moment, on laptop) and they were made with screen door mesh and worked great...
i have since changed hoods...but for the best priced vents around. I always use Mountain Fit Hoods...

X2 on Mountain Fit vents for the hood and side panels, a very nice product and the most affordable.

i just bought aluminum sheet from homedepot,, printed out the SLP vents,, traced,, carfully snip cut pattern,,,, fastners,, drill/dremmel cut,,,,, LEft and right side,, done,, 12 bucks.
what did u use to cut tin slips or such ? didnt it end-up with sharp edges and burrs ? pics ? ty
you can file, grind, belt sand, hand sand and dremel tool to a smooth finish. I want to do this myself, but would like to find snow screen in bulk (not just regular house screen) like the frog skins type. lets air in, but not snow. anyone know where?
