Aerocharger turbo systems for Ski-Doo XMs and XPs are in stock, tuned and tested - order yours now for same day shipping!

Also, we now have pricing for Aerocharger's new Air-Snow Intercooler!

This intercooler was developed for the Aerocharger Hillclimb race team and is now commercially available for the first time. It works by directing water, snow, and ice from the tunnel through the intercooler core, which lowers the air charge temperature. This intercooler will require modification to the snowmobile's tunnel, with do-it-yourself instructions and templates provided. A video installation and demo will be coming soon as well.

Pricing is available as an upgrade from non-intercooled Aerocharger systems, or included in a comprehensive Aerocharger Air-to-Snow E-TEC System package.

Aerocharger Ski-Doo Turbo Systems
E-TEC XP/XM 600/800

NON-INTERCOOLED SYSTEM: $5,650.00
COMPLETE AIR/SNOW INTERCOOLED SYSTEM: $6,250.00
AIR/SNOW INTERCOOLER UPGRADE: $700.00

EDIT: Here's some new info!

In this video, we talk about the concept behind the intercooler design and then we install one on Carl Kuster's mod sled.

NOTE: We are now shipping these intercoolers with pre-fitted rubber molding. Sealing the frame and airbox edges, as demonstrated in this video, is no longer required.

so we just hack a 4x8" hole in our tunnel and away we go?

also, an pictures facing in the throttle body outlets? just looking at the welds on the outside im curious to see how its plumbed inside.

OK here's some more pics for those interested -

To reinforce the tunnel and support the Air to Snow intercooler, this strong mounting frame fits into the opening that will be cut in the tunnel.

Here's a shot of the inner side of an unwelded airbox front plate. Like all Aerocharger airboxes, the intake collars have a machined & polished bevel to support high velocity airflow. We do this because crude plumbing here would create inefficiencies that erode final hp.

Some views of the intercooler core. The air is directed across the core as it pressurizes the airbox, and the core is built solid enough to take any abuse from material in the tunnel while still effectively transferring heat.

If you are worried about tunnel strength, we have been running an even larger air to snow intercooler on our race sleds for two seasons and we have broken many other parts on the sled but our tunnels are still in one piece and straight.

I honestly have no idea how well it would fit on an 800R, you could probably make it work but it may require some modifications on your part.

An upgrade costs $700.

I have one in my 13 xm and the hottest charge temp I have seen is 90f and that was after 3 long pulls sled is running 8 lbs install looks very clean and box looks good as well

Thanks for the feedback!

Also, we just added an install video to the main post to demonstrate how it fits into the tunnel.

what thickness is the aluminum used for the cooling fins? I like it. itd be much lighter than a w/a intercooler.
