air/fuel mixture gauge

Get the aem part # 304-100 it works great and does its own calibration. I tried the innovate and did not have much luck with it.The aem should run you $200 from most auto parts stores.

Stay away from the Auto-meter air/Fuel gauge, unless they have a true wideband now. The old gauge is just a volt meter running of the o2 sensor voltage. The AEM is a OK unit, I had one on my turbo track car. If you want the best buy a FJO, I've read good things about the NGK and PLX units.

Autometer does make wideband airfuel gauges now.

We have had great luck with the AEM. Easy to install, accurate, and seems to last a lot longer than the Innovate.

I like the AEM unit, I've seen different #'s from the AEM wide band gauge when dynoing on a DynoJet and Dyno Dynamics dyno with some of our turbo cars running 116 octane leaded. The sniffer probe on the dyno is less sporadic than the Bosh wide band 02's, I'd stay a few points on the rich side using any Wide band gauge.

Anyone use EGT gauges on there sleds? Yes it's old school, but they still work great :)

I still use EGT exclusively on the 2 strokes. On the four strokes I like the A/F gauge. On any type of sled you need to look at other indicators as well to get optimum power.
