Who has one, and what number do I want it read. I have an M-1000 with y-pipe and can speedwerxs air cone.

What type of gage do you have? I have an AEM. I was told you dont want over 12.5!! I was told to try for 11.5 to 12 is best anything more is lean! Just getting used to mine!

sorry to steal the thread but im wondering what do you need to run the gauge i no some were saying that the sensor has to be hot before you start the sled or something. And what power are tapping the gauge into?

i had one on an 07 m1000 an ngk afx and you should preheat the sensor they are suppose to last longer i made connections so i could hook a couple wires up to do it and i did it a couple times but then i just didnt worry about it because when you stop for lunch there is no way to preheat it i hooked mine to the yellow and brown wires by the steering post and dont ever let it see 12.8 or you can get towed off the mt by the wife with her m6 through a crowd of 300 people like me oops :D going back to BcR

I run a Koso Wide band and these were the numbers that I was told to run from SLP.

Idle: 14-1 to 16-1

Low load part throttle (up to 50% throttle opening) 14-1 to 15-1

Low load part throttle (50 to 65% throttle opening) 13.5-1 to 14-1

High load above 65% throttle opening: 12.2-1 to 13.2-1

The M-1000 can run on the leaner side of these numbers if not leaner. You will need to determine that with plug checks and piston wash.
