Air Frame Running Boards

Ok I know there is probably a ton of threads about this so I'm sorry but I had a hard time finding any! I'm considering putting the Air Frame running boards on my 2012 pro and just wondering if its worth the money and how everybody likes them. Also what vent to rock on the pro as well??

Best money spent on the 11-12. I am getting a 13 and am going to leave it. My wife likes the air frames better than the boards on the 13. I know they are better but will have to ride it to see if they are $500 better.

I wonder if there is gonna be a lwasuit against Polaris for all the gashed shins, knees and bibs. LOL Those boards are wicked sharp. Good traction, though.

I will be going with the Airframes this year on my 11 Pro. Actually ordered mine in natural aluminum so that I could powder coat them to match the rest of the sled. They will be the first set of Airframes that VanAmburg has installed on one of their tunnels. They should be offering Airframes as an option on their tunnels in the near future.

Anyone upgrading thier 13 stock boards to AF, I would interested in buying the stock 13 from ya.

I just put air frames on my '12 in July. They look great and the instal was reasonable with few hiccups. I can't say they work yet because the only riding I've done was to move it in my buddies back yard and took down the green space. I think compared to something like a better board it is a smarter investment. Very stable, I recommend that if doing it yourself buy extra drill bits, be careful when installing the studs and go with the powder coated boards.

On an 11 or 12 it is the best money you will spend on the sled. Not sure on the 13s but I am going to buy a set now so I have them if I want them. IMPOSSIBLE or nearly impossible to get in season. Skinz can't seem to figure that part out. They have what is known as a flat learning curve when it comes to production. Don't ride a sled with Airframes without knee and shin protection or you will be sorry.

Mine just came in from the states after ordering them last May :face-icon-small-con

Now with a foot of new snow coming tomorrow I've gotta get them on quick!!

I will leave the stock ones on this year and give them a shot on the Pro. I installed them on my XP last year and what a difference.
I would have to say it should be a upgrade high on the list for all brands of sleds.

RSI Dumpers starting at $169.95 per pair. Polaris has outer strengthening rib for added traction and strength.
