Polaris service bulletin says to bleed the oil pump then have a second person start the sled while you manually open oil pump. I have read where others have just disconnected oil tank and filled the gap with oil. Which way should I do this? I was going over my sled today inspecting everything and noticed a 1inch bubble by the tank.

loosen the tank, tilting it slightly to the side so the air comes out easier.
use a hot air gun and heat up the hot oil tank and hose, so the oil geats heated and moves easier:)

Three ways, all good.

I did two of them while draining the last of the Blue Oil out for the Gold.

I pulled the line from the tank, and let the tank dribble someoil into the line to over fill it, and then plugged it back onto the tank and the air bubble was gone.

Then I bled the blue oil out of the line using the bleed screw at the pump, then I used the old wire-hanger-to the oil pump arm trick to hold the pump wide open while the machine was held just above idle for a few minutes.

Marked the tank at full, and rode and checked to confirm usage.

Good time to check your main oil line for the rub at bulkhead issue, and assure that all hose clamps were properly installed.

well I removed the air bubble, and let it idle for a bit. After I shut the sled I see that the air bubble is back again. Do you have to remove the air bubble a few times?
