air box

so i have a 2008 Dragon 800 with slp pipe,can, head , its got the slp high air flow on it... should i gut the air box out of it??

No. There has been a bunch of threads on the performance loss and service engine lights with a CFI sled. I know it used to be a common mod on our carbed sleds, but no longer a gain.

ok thanx i didnt know i did it too my 02 and it was night and day difference

when my d7 was stock it was fouling plugs i drilled a bunch of holes in that flat peice of plastic and it quit fouling the plugs hmmm more air. After talking with slp and them telling me my twin pipes wouldnt run worth a crap on my non ported 700 i told the guy that ive been running them for a year and they work great he got snooty with me, there not many good companys out there anymore that care about the lil guy all they care about is cash in there pockets. It amazes me when people buy those goofy funnel things that slp sells for the intake, they do make some great products tho
