Air box mod

Hello,

Does anyone have some clear pictures of how you had to cut your air box to add the TSS, particularly on a KTM 500 or a Husky 501?

I'm trying to get a mental picture in my head before my kit shows up.

Here is my FC450. The cut should be very similar to the 501. The one thing you don't see in this picture is where I shaved off the air filter pivot on the rear inside lip of the box. Your TSS install instructions should include pictures of your box.

Wonder what dents the pipe like that?




Mine has the exact same dent, and I barely rode it on dirt before a fixed strut kit.

Yep, it's a factory "dent".

I did it on the bike while connected with a sawzall blade and rotozip. Punch your corners with a drill bit and just connect the dots. I did a little more trimming once I got the air filter in there just to give a little more clearance.
