Ahtna Land issue

I talked to BLM in Glennallen which oversees the Cantwell area. They have a map on their website that shows the approved easements in black and the proposed easements in red. Look at the table on the map to get the names of the trails. Supposedly the trails are marked with a trail head marker out in the field. Here is the link, click on the Cantwell Village Enlargement Map link on the bottom right and it will take you to the map.

DOT land extends 150' from the centerline of the highway...so you can ride alongside the road to access the easements, which should be marked in the next two weeks.

Good work ICR.. I know that takes time to make the right contacts and get real answers. Sounds like you did alot of homework for the benefit of all here.

Good job all the same making us aware.I own a 42 year old cabin that they want to try and charge me to acces after the university traded them land in front of it.
