aftermarket kill switch?

So i purchased a munster finger throttle and need an aftermarket kill switch not a tether already have one...i noticed one from rsi that looks like it might work?.....do youguys know a simple plug and play one out there.......thanks.

No idea. I bought one of those Munsters too, but haven't put it on yet. I was actually hoping to run without a kill switch since I have the key for normal kills and the tether for emergency kills. Haven't had the time to mess with it.

I dont know of a plug and play but i am installing one off of a Suzuki RMZ 450. its only 25.00 and light, small and waterproof.

Why don't you keep the stock one and move it? Mount it on the inside of your handle bars?

Guessing that he, like myself, owns a pre-2013 sled where the kill switch is built into the throttle block.

Also, something I learned last night working on my sled (and answering my own question in my previous post) the entire kill switch/ignition/tether circuit is set up so open allows it to run. Meaning, unplugging any of them will still let the sled run. And, in today's riding, I did not miss the kill switch. One less thing to check before pulling rope, and one less thing that can get bumped and kill the sled. Also, FOR ME, the finger throttle is a win.

I run the Polaris handlebar bag on my 15 and moving the kill switch out of the way interferes with the bag/switch. I like to have a sepperate kill switch other than the tether. I have hit mine (Stuck) had tree branches hit it and broke it. Yes i have used the rubber band/O-Ring etc. After breaking it and using the rubber band i looked at options and the dirt bike switch seems like a no brainer, doest lock in the off position so it is just like the stock switch with a rubber band but much smaller. sealed and spring loaded so it pops back up and the Suzuki one is a depressed center so the switch and rubber cover is protected.

i bought some switches from electronic frys when i first bought the sled last year
switches were $1.50 each
cut the connectors off the original kill switch and soldered to new switches
also have pro armor tether and recently installed the munster throttle
by the way the throttle is AWESOME

I took a different approach, I found some waterproof momentary switches made by Zeta that are built into a billet 7/8" bar clamp half. I use one for PERC and one for the Kill switch. As I use ALTernative Impacts Titanium "T" top steering post, I have the switches on the bottom half so they are protected from everything but my finger when needed.

I'm still looking to source a sequencing relay to use one for the high / low beam switch and another for the hand / thumb warmers, but have yet to find a relay or smart circuit that will do that like the discontinued RSI box.
