Had posted this in the 900 section, looking to get a little more attention:
Installed a mtn fit hood on my 9 last year and installed some aftermarket headlights from walmart in the hood. i wired them to the stock wiring and noticed my volt meter on my gauge dropped to about half maybe a little below, my gauge backlighting is also dimmer and the headlights are so-so. they are bright but not to the fullest as when I hooked them up dirrectly to a battery. Do some night riding here in mn and can see but not that great lol any thoughts or input? Should I install a relay or ?...I just bought a set of cheap driving lights at wal mart, they are 55watt. Come to think of it im having issues with my nitrous too, worked fine before I put different hood and lights on but now she wont go, maybe has to do with power issue too or maybe a different problem. Havent dug into the nitrous wiring and issue yet, also the sled has never been in a wreck or had an issue with the wiring before
