aftermarket exhaust

Skinz Protective gear has the cans for the 800 PRO's in the ULTRA-Q and SUPER-Q

I talked with the people at Dynoport, BMP, SLP, MBRP and they are just finishing up.. HPS has not returned my call yet.

Although SLP has the pipes and cans listed on the site... they have not released anything yet and will be working hard to get some results from this motor.

As far as pipes... SLP and Dynoport said the same thing... they will need on the snow testing and/or Dyno work to get these things ready.

On the pipes.... I'd say... wait till after the holidays, run your sled, and then make up your mind once all the options are out there

It will be interesting to see what comes from this.

JK!! That X-PU is in for a big suprise!!:bathbaby:

My understanding from SLP is that they were shooting for December some time but not sure if they would actually make that...said they were taking a whole different approach to the pipe this year. Said the pipe will probably require a fuel controller and intake mod. I think they are shooting for substantial increases.

Waiting for MBRP's can. I've had their cans on my last several sleds and have been very happy with the sound.

Does anyone know if the MBRP can is available and ready for purchase yet? If so, where? Thanks.

Here are some pix of the Skinz Protective Gear silencer (Can) for the PRO-RMK

Very nice quality and fit. These silencers are in stock and ready.

Ok, thanks MH. I talked to a dude at MBRP today and he said mid December. HPS is saying maybe a week, maybe a month. You can pre-order the MBRP can and they will ship you one as soon as they are available.

any weight savings on the cans? when i picked up my sled they had a slp dragon can and it weighed almost the same as the stocker for the prormk. with as quite as these things are letting the intake and exhaust flow has got to give some benefits.

When I was talking to Skinz about a tunnel bag I asked about the can and they said about 3lbs lighter than oem and no hp increase.
The 0 hp increase is typical of all cans though.

thanks to both of you. BMP makes a powder lite can, loud and light. 4lbs and no loss of horsepower, i realize that the no loss could be a lie and they are all going to say that, but i think that is where i might start.

What is the decibel rating for that BMP can? And if I remember correct BMP cans are baffled not packed, so there shouldn't be any noise increase after use. And no packing to blow out too! If it is quiet enough I might think about going this route, just so its not crazy loud so colorado forest boys won't mess with me.

not sure about the decibel, but the guy i talked to there said it was loud.

here is what they have for a description

If you want a light muffler that barks, our Powderlite Muffler is the way to go! They only weigh 4 lbs and they fit great with lazer cut mounting brackets. Our Powder Lite mufflers are dyno tested on our Superflow to make sure that they don't lose power like many other companies do. Our free flowing baffle design will give you excellent throttle response. If you want light, get a BMP Powder Lite!!

MBRP Can

I talked to MBRP, their can will be ready December 1st. They are just finisihing them up. They expect 9 lbs lighter with 2+hp gain. Asking $259.99. Part #427T209. Save one for me. I have had 2 MBRP cans and they always make me happy. :face-icon-small-win

So theirs will weigh 2 lbs and have a hp gain? I've got some oceanfront property in Toledo too if you're interested!

Have FUN!
