Does anyone seal up there exhaust joints with high temp sealant or just bolt them on dry?

Thanks for any feedback.

I've had the SLP pipe and now the BMP pipe and installed both without any high temperature silicone. I will say the BMP pipe seals better to the Y-pipe than the SLP.

I seal the inner and outer dia of the doughnut gasket. I also adjust (by bending the tabs) the springs to the correct tension. You use a feeler gauge between the spring coils to check. Eric

Thanks Fella's,

When i installed a can i didn't think I had any leaks but I'm thinking I might so thought I'd try to seal up the joints. Im getting what i think is a lean spot around 3500 +/- since putting on the can and was wondering if it may be because of a leak? It hesitataes/burrbles if im off/on throttle in the lower range, when i hit the flipper from a dead stop it blows past it but if im on/off down low it does it almost everytime. Any insight guys is appreciated?
