is it just me or are the after suppliers(engine stuff for skidoo's) getting a bit sloppy?
seems like i am seeing alot more----drop in, big bore--- seizing or blowing up
we end up with ---------you must have wrong pipe, wrong can, wrong oil, wrong temp, to hot, to cold, not enough warm up, etc

what about your(supplier)-------to tight, to loose, wrong gasket, wrong piston material, exhaust valve not ground enough, to busy to check each part but--- put in a box and shipped out anyway
this comes from to many personal experiences lately and to many forum reads lately
alright i done bit@#in'

racin station was great with my m7 800 big bore and any others I have heard that have had problems. Wich is only the plating cracked on mine and a problem with a 1200cc kit for a m1000 I heard some one else had. Mine was not racin stations fault, but the platers. Stuff replaced for free under warranty. the way it should be done.

I had a buddy that got a 1100 some thing big bore kit from BMP last year and a set of crank shop twins (because he was told he had to have them to run correctly) for his rt 1000. Piece of **** seized up in 8 miles of babying it around. About 5 miles of tail and 3 miles over one ridge and the first time he gives it over half throttle she seized. This is after they sent him two different pistons and told him to run them. They would work. Weighed them and they were 5 grams difference in weight. called wiseco and gave them the numbers off the piston. Was told one was a crank shop piston and the other was a BMP piston. So he called and *****ed and got them to send a piston to match the other. I can't imagine the damaged that would have occured if he had run the pistons like they told him to in the first place.
They told him it cold seized because he was running it too cold. He had ben running it for 8 miles before he gave it over half throttle. They asked him if his thermostate was working or stuck. 05 rt1000's dont have a thermostate. You would think BMP would have known this or mentioned some thing to him when he bought the kit. Doesn't sound like they did much testing on the kit.
Who do you think had to pay for new pistons and for the cylinders to be repaired. I would have told them to shove it up their ***.
He had a buddy machine a restrictor to go in the coolant line and watches water temp now. No more problems.

I would definatly buy a big bore kit from racin station again and highly recomend them. Wouldn't touch or recomend a BMP kit to any one.
