After market engine bearings for boosted engines?

So I was looking up some main and rod bearings for my Subaru engine, and it got me wondering if anyone has done aftermarket bearings for high hp boosted Apex and nytro mills. I'm pretty amazed them tiny bearings will handle pressures from 400hp plus.

I'm doing a full on apex engine build and figured wat the hell why not throw in some high end bearings in aswell if I get some made. Some companies make super tight tolerance bearings and up to 30% stronger.

As Im aware of they are not available.

On stock yammie engines the clearences is pretty tight, so many enginebuilders install different size bearing to open up the clearences a little.

Each bearing is about 0.0001 different from the
nearest color so one color change will make the clearance change approx
0.0002, not much at all. You can look at the end of the part number and it
will read -BO, -AO, -00, -10, -20, -30, -40. These are in order from
largest to smallest bearing.

I've never heard of engine builders opening up clearances, compared to lots of race teams blueprint engines to bring tolerances within .001, which is why I was looking at aftermarket because I'm blueprinting mine ( and possibly my car engine if time permits) and seeing if there was stronger bearing options, not saying that there is anything wrong with stock as it has proven itself

Its pretty normal on race engines to open up clearences a little. Too tight and you will kill the bearing when you add heat and load.

no hints on that secret? been toying with the same idea on my rally car since they make replacement high volume high pressure oil pumps, might have to give cosworth a call on their opinion since they probably mess with R1 engines

Bearings on turbo engine

Here is picture of what I have always done on nytro motor.
Add a little for higher load on crank for better oil cooling.
I have also shimed the pump pressure a little.
