Aerocharger fuel controller

I just picked up a 2011 pro with a 2012 aerocharger turbo. It's running the 1st generation dobec controller that came with the kit. I've seen a number of threads recommending the boost-it or vipec controllers. Does anyone have any insight into which way to go? User friendliness and minimal field tuning are preferred. This is my first turbo so I'm trying to keep it as simple and easy to operate as possible.

vipec and boost-it are very different.
Vipec is a whole new ECU that has to be tuned via a laptop. Not easily done on the hill.
Boost-it can be tuned anywhere and is stupid easy.
This being said Ive ran the Boost-it on my old apex. and haven't messed with the VIPEC. I would like to try a vipec on my next build but I know it will need to be tuned by the laptop. I would buy another Boost-it box in a heartbeat.

Congrats on the purchase! Piggybacks tend to get a bad rap but they've been an effective fuel solution and the vast majority of Aerocharger owners are happy with their performance. We want our customers to run any fuel system they're comfortable with, but I'd see how the Dobeck works out for you first. Just our 2 cents... give us a call if you need anything!
