aem wide band af guage

Hey need some help form the af guys. I installed a new wide band aem guage and sensor , from the instructions it doesn't sound like I need to calibrate this instrument. But when I run my sled on the "P2" setting it reads fine until the sled starts warming up the it goes up into the --- might read 17 here and there . My sensor is welded in at the 1:30 location on the pipe so I don't believe it is a moisture problem , it is a brand new motor and I was liberal with the oil upon assembly. I run the motor up to op temp and have check the plugs numerous times, nice color to them might be a touch rich but good for break in, what am i missing? Thanks for any help

I ran one on my 2008 m1000 along with a dynometer. Every once in a while my gauges would mess with me like that as well. So I installed an on/off switch and would just shut them off, then right back on. Kind of a reset, but it worked everytime. However, different sled but thought I would weigh in.
