Advices please..

Hi all.

Been reading all kinds of post on many forums to be able to choose what MH kit to get! But i don´t get any viser, so what´s your opinion.

My bike is a KTM 690 Enduro R. I´m about 200 Pounds and will be riding mostly off trails. When it´s powder here its about 2 feet deep ,somtimes a little deeper, and often with packed snow in the bottom.
Terrain will be both forrest and mountains.

Is there any "golden rule" or will the LT kit always be best, since the 690 is a big bike and given the riding conditions??

Thanks

/Patrik

I would definitely go LT on a bike that size. You will need the flotation with the weight and power you have. I'm no expert just my thoughts.

The rules I follow in the Colorado mountains are this:

200 + go LT

160-200 go ST

Under 160 go SX

These are recommend for single bike owners that want to ride every day of the season.

In your case with the heavy bike and your weight I would recommend LT.

I am 220 now and ride a LT on the deep days and a SX every other day. I am fortunate enough to have a few bikes to chose from.
