Advice on color for custom painted hood?

When i get my sleds i like them to be different than anyone else’s. My 900 RMK was orange Poo, my 2005 IQR jumping sled doesn't have a name yet ( open for suggestions though!) and my next sled needs to be the same. I love orange, its my favorite color and always will be. I plan on having my 68 chevy custom painted next summer Atomic orange with Black SS stripes.

But hear is the problem, the Iqr i am looking at buying has the blue plastic and light blue does not match atomic orange very well and i am not going to spend $400 to buy new plastics for something as bad as color. What color should i use? Hear are some pics starting with the sled i want to buy and the last ones are my past sleds.

Well that blue and white one looks d@mn good but you wouldn't want to steal someone elses design. I would look at pics of old sled like fron the 70's and do a retro look. At least thats what I'm going to do on my next one. We expect pics as soon as its done though.

House of kolors Ultra Orange looks good with blue. Looks like a bright metalic orange, just think of Jeff Gordons car.

i am thinking of just doing a white hood and have white go down on the side panels, does anyone else know of a good color scheme?

Black and Orange look real nice with Blue, I think anyway. I was thinking do a Black hood with Orange Striping or lettering with White outlines. Might be a bit much though since from the look of your 900 you like the less busy look of plain color. In that case I like the white on blue. Either case get rid of ALL RED on it I just don't think it looks good with the Blue. JMO
