so i just ordered a 2012 nytro mtx 162 with the supercharger option. now i just want some input from everyone who has been riding the nytros out in the mountains, as i came from out east riding the trails, on what upgrades i should look into. i already have my list of things, but would like some input from the seasoned riders on what to do. thanks for the help.

Best thing i did on mine hands down was the OFT Steering Post Relocator. Sled handles comletely different. I also recommend the Jacobson Roll Over Valve with tether. I would say ditch the track but the new track yamaha is using for 2012 is supposed to be very good. I also highly recommend the air frame running boards from skinz. Absolutely love them never having any snow built up on your running boards is very nice. Trail Tank is a good investment so you have 10 gallons of fuel instead of the 7.5 that comes stock. I really like my simmons gen III skis. I think I am going to give the new front end that skinz has designed a shot this year it looks like a really good setup. Also am going to be putting on a turbo this year but you already have a super charger so you aren't worried about that. More vents is a good idea too. You can never have too much air when you are up in the mountains. Thats just what i like. Everyone has what they like and works for them. There are a lot of different ways to spend money!

Those are a great place to start.

You're probably going to be hearing a LOT about the new SKINZ front suspension in the next couple months. My guess is that it will turn into a "Must-Have" for most die-hard Nytro drivers.

Under tunnel exhaust. It's cheap and frees up the rear for fuel. I bought a cbr 600 slip on and have never had it plug or bog the motor in any way. I did this before the supercharger and had to add some weight to the clutch to stop hitting the rev limiter.

are the rollover kits from oft the same as the ones in this link from four stroke solutions?

Primary difference is the tether switch. The Four Stroke Solutions unit uses a cowl mounted switch and the OFT unit uses a handle bar mounted switch. Both are a quality products and are operated in the same maner.:thumb:

thanks for all of the input. i have some good ideas and am getting some good ones from everybody here. how about risers? also i am wanting to put a set of 2 5/8" gauges on the sled. a oil pressure, boost, and water temp. what about a slick way to mount them on the cowl or bars? any pics would be nice. thanks again for the help.
