Advice for Whistler first timer

Found out I am going to Whistler first week in April. Been wanting to go for some time so I am very excited. Looking for recommendations for a tour with rental sleds(mountain sleds of course) for a one day excursion. I am an experienced rider hoping to find something a little beyond the standard tour. I would like to see some of that wide open glacial mountain riding that I have seen in some of the videos shot up there, mixed with a little boondocking maybe? Any recommendations or advice?

ride with chris brown, or snowride adventures.

I second Chris at ridewithchrisbrown.com. I had the priviledge to ride with him last year. Great guy, one hell of a rider, and he'll teach you everything you want to know or help hone skills you already have. He also has sleds you can rent, I do believe all the rental sleds have every modification that he has done to his sled as well. All turbo Yamaha Nytro's.

rent a sled somewhere and give Geoff Kyle a call at Geoff Kyle's freeride adventures. Great guy and phenomenal rider, he'll show you some awsome terrain.
