advice for starting a rebuilt engine

I'm about to start up my 03' 800 after an overhaul. I manually cranked the pump to send oil to the ends of the lines. I'll premix at 40\1 aswell. And Bleed the coolant. It seemed to run good before, so I'm wondering how finicky the timing might be. I had a fine scribe mark to line up to. should a guy be balancing the carbs? Any advice would be appreciated.

If it ran fine before and you didn't do anything to the carbs then no need to sync them.

Blow in the tank to force fuel in to the carbs, pull it and start it... let it idle while it comes up to temp. Once it does, the running boards should get warm, that will tell you if the coolant system is burped.

I wire tie the oil pump wide open before first start and let it stay that way while I bring it up to temp the first time idling which ensures the oil is pumped through all the lines completely.
