Advice - 2004 SXViper Mtn or 2006 RMK 600 144

I am currently looking at either an 04 yamaha sxviper mtn 700 151" or 06 polaris rmk 600 144". Both sleds have just under 2K miles. Anyone have experience riding both machines? If so I would love to hear your thoughts. I plan to ride 50% mountain and 50% groomed trails. Any known issues I should be aware of? How is the reliability between the two? How is the viper in the deep snow compared to the rmk? Any general info would be appreciated. Thanks!

*Does anyone know what hp the viper produces with triple pipes compared to the rmk 600?

I owned a Viper mtn back in 2004 and I also had a little seat time on the 600 polaris.

A properly set-up viper will outrun that 600 in no time. I put 12000kms on my Viper without a issue. The 600 that rode with me blew up twice in 2600miles.
If I remember correctly a Piped viper is around 150hp the 600 is 120-125ish..

Chassis wise the Viper wasnt bad but I didnt think it handled as good as the polaris.

First thing you need to do with the viper is get a Boss Seat the facotry one is way to low and you could do a wilchild post that will help it aswell.

Viper rocks. But if you plan to drive one slow get the Bender head gasket or it will overheat. Girlfriend still misses her Viper, I made her upgrade to a Nytro.
