Adjusting VES valves

I have an 01 polaris pro x 600 and im trying to figure out the exhaust valve adjustment...are the blue caps suppose to be ran in tight or are they for adjusting the spring tension? any advise would be appreciated

Those blue caps are there for adjusting purposes. The tighter you turn them in, the higher the rpm at which the valves will open. Keep backing them out until you start to feel it getting doggy on the bottom end. Odds are depending on what springs are in it, and what kind of porting has been done to the motor, you will be able to back them WAY out and be good to go. You wan them to open as soon as possible for max power without giving up your bottom end.
