Adjusting transfer on Nytro MTX

So how do you go about adjusting the transfer on the Nytro MTX. I have everything else pretty stiff, but I need more coupling to help with the weak front track shock.

Looked at the manual and got confused so I figured I would ask for some help.

Looks like you undo the two large nuts, thread them up the shaft, then tighten the nuts back together? Is it that simple?

Thanks

Nikolai would be one to talk to. I think he's done some tuning with it. And he's more than willing to share what he learned!!!!!:D I'd like to know too cause I'm bottoming on everything and I'm not "that" big

Nikolai inquiring minds need your help!!!!!

I put the optional Ohlins shock in mine to try and slow down the transfer. A stiffer shock helped a lot on the Apex. Will try this Ohlins this weekend and see how it works back to back with another MCX MTX with the stock shock. I have Timbersled front and rear suspension but the rear is not here yet so will have to run the stocker for now. I find it bottoms quite easily as it comes, especially when you add boost.

Your toolkit has two wrenches in it that fit both nuts so you can adjust transfer in the field. All the way down will increase transfer and soften the ride, having them screwed up will have the opposite affect. If you screw them up, you can only go until the red line is visible, any higher and you'll damage the transfer assembly. it's super easy and only takes a couple minuts.

FYI, I have had mine screwed up since ride two(to stiffen it) and it still transfers great, even with the torsion springs on the stiffest setting.

Nikolai,

Thanks for all your help. I assume you run the rear skid with everything cranked at max settings?

Do you still find that it bottoms easily?
