Adjustable Handlebars Froze!!

Anybody else have this problem? We got about 20" of heavy wet snow here in Minnesota over Christmas so I decided to put a few miles on the new M8. What a great sled, switching back and forth from my 07 XRS to the M is totally different in the motor department. The M revs sooo quickly. Haven't really opened it up yet but you can tell that it rips. Fell off the first two times I pulled it over in the snow, it just comes over waaaay to easy compared to my REV. I still like the riding position on the REV better along with the suspension.

Seriously though, anybody else's adjustable steering freeze?? You think they would make it so water couldn't get in there!

Doesn't your sled have the coolant lines that keep the fuel injectors from freezing up also routed through the steering post and handle bars? :D

I'm just kidding.

I guess I haven't adjusted mine much since I have a high rise Boss seat and predominately boondock.

Sorry, I'm not much help but, lube can't hurt.

mine hardley ever adjust when its really cold

found that when its really cold they freeze all the time.i leave them up all the time anyways but it would be nicw if they didnt do that for when you did need them to adjust

I like to drop mine when rolling the sled over to decrease the load on the post/bulkhead, so I used to adjust them a lot. That probably forces more snow into them than normal, but the grease seemed to help.

Aside from that, I think the adj. bars are a waste of metal.
