Adjust the suspension, or get a new ride?

I just bought my first sled - a 2009 Phazer MTX - and it is one rough riding mo-fo on the trails. I mostly like it, but I'm thinking about selling it after only 140 miles unless I can tweak the suspension to get a much smoother ride.

I weigh 190 lbs. How should I have the suspension set up to maximize comfort and control (emphasis on comfort)?

Right now, I believe the front shock preload is on soft and the track preload is on medium - from the dealership.

Is it going to be possible to get a nice smooth ride, or should I just sell this and get a __________? (insert suggestion for a smooth riding, go-anywhere sled under $8000) Utility features, like the ability to pull a cargo sled are a bonus.

Would the Nytro XTX be a much better ride for me? Most of my riding is on trails (pretty rough ones at that). I do encounter plenty of deep powder, however, but I really don't do much steep mountain riding. I just bought a mountain sled because I don't want to get stuck 30 miles from the nearest road up here in Alaska when it's -20 degrees outside!

Would a long track utility sled - something like a Ski-Doo Tundra LT or AC Bear Cat be the way to go? Or if I wanted stick with Yamaha, what models should I consider?
