Adding Turbo after 1450 miles???

Just wondering what your thoughts are on installing a turbo on a 2012 with 1450 miles on it? Top end was just rebuilt under warranty so I was thinking this might be a good time to do it. Or am I better to wait and do it to a brand new sled? Reliability is my biggest concern.

it is a perfect time to turbo your sled, my sled has now over 4000km on same engine turboed, so no problem for you to make the switch to turbo. You may look into Hm turbos(he uses our Vi-pec standalone ECU) and this kit is realy proven now on pro's.

I would say go for it. Alot of guys saying u need a fix kit or something. I have yet to see any valitidy to it. not saying that there kits are bad just that i don't think it is as much of an isuue as they make out to be.

Stock polaris pistons are sloppy. If your getting a new top end and your cylinders all look good. Put a turbo on it. A turbo isnt going to not work because you have miles on your motor. Alot of people want to "break" in a motor first anyway. I say turbo it with 0 or 10000 miles.
