adding e start to a 09 800 summit??

wifey cant start her sled.it so im looking to buy an e-start kit for $450.unless somebody has a cheap new take off they want to sell.i see clutch has starter gear and it has a start/rev button.is it a easy bolt on,plug in and ride thing?...thanks fo any info.

If you buy a kit can you weigh it I am curious as to what they weigh.

ok.it cant weigh much.maybe a 5# starter? and a baby battery.

Battery on mine is pretty big just curious what the whole set up weighs

I would think it is mostly the same kit, but maybe a different battery in the XP versus the Rev? My buddy just took his estart off his 2006 Renegade... Here is the pic he sent me showing the removal of weight... 23 pounds

By the way, when you install the estart I believe you will have an extra relay that people who do the estart delete mod will want from you...

I think it took him 2 hours to remove the kit...

On the 08's and I'm guessing on the 09's you don't need the different wire loom like on previous years. You can just put it on your sled with the wiring you get when buying the electric start.
