ACORN's political wing has endorsed Barack Obama for president, but Ben LaBolt, a spokesman for the Obama campaign in Ohio, said ACORN has no role in its get-out-the-vote drive.

During the primary season, however, the Obama camp paid another group, Citizen Service Inc., $832,598 for various political services, according to Federal Elections Commission filings. That group and ACORN share the same board of directors.

So do you suppose that was just a coincidence?

I think what acorn has done by hiring people and paying them for the number of new registered voters is the main cause of the voter fraud.

They have really put undue strain on the system as they are forced to spend many man hours to catch the fraudulent forms.



As bad as this is it will have no effect on the outcome of the election. Voters are still required to show proof in the form of ID when placing their votes.

Yes, but once again Obama is caught lying by saying he has no ties to ACORN. Some of these people have already fessed up to voting more than once as well.

What about all those absentee ballots? No ID required. Plus there are many polling places that do not require photo ID's according to a few news programs that have been covering this Acorn mess.

I personally have never filled out an absentee ballot but I would think it would require a matching vaild ID# of some sort?

I do agree that what was done was wrong and those directly responsible should be properly prosecuted.
