ACORN busted AGAIN.

I support and applaud James and Hanna 100% in their efforts, but there are a couple of weird things in this video.

1. What's up with the audio being silenced when the Acorn rep speaks.
2. He said his battery died, but then he had video of them leaving. Maybe he added a new battery when he got a chance, but he should have pointed that out if it was the case.

They should realize how heavily their video's are scrutinized and should make sure they are 100% squeaky clean. They said the full uncut and unedited video will be posted too, I just have not seen it yet.

Actually, it makes perfect sence when you think about it.
ACORN states they tossed em out.
Up comes the video showing they weren't tossed out.
Next ACORN will say something about we didn't offer them any help at all.
Then the audio that was cut out is put back and it shows they in fact did give them help.

This gives the film makers more ammo.
ACORN is in a tight fix, if they try to continue to denigh it, the film maker just puts out more video.

Just on Hannity, they had to mute the audio for legal reasons. Considering Acorn is suing them for illegal taping I guess they need to tread lightly.

and the main media STILL refuses to address or even acknowledge there is a problem.
What a joke.

ACORN Defunded Until October 31st. That's It.

Washington, D.C., Oct 16 - There's a lot of talk out there about ACORN being stripped of their federal funding, and restricted from receiving federal funds in the future. Sadly, this couldn't be further from the truth.

Here's what really happened:

On October 1, 2009, the President signed a Continuing Resolution (CR) to keep government programs running at their current spending levels for one month. This was necessary because Congress has not yet passed the annual appropriations bills which fund all government programs into the new fiscal year, which began October 1st.

In the Conference Report accompanying that bill, Congress included the following provision in Division B which prohibited ACORN from accessing federal funding:

Sec. 163. None of the funds made available by this joint resolution or any prior Act may be provided to the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), or any of its affiliates, subsidiaries, or allied organizations.

However, the CR expires on October 31, 2009:

DIVISION B--CONTINUING APPROPRIATIONS RESOLUTION, 2010

Division B provides continuing appropriations for all agencies and activities that would be covered by the regular fiscal year 2010 appropriations bills, until enactment of the applicable regular appropriations bill, or until October 31, 2009, whichever occurs first.

Congress can pass another CR if it hasn’t finished passing the spending bills. That CR would also have an expiration date of a matter of days or weeks or maybe months. But, unless that CR includes the same language as Sec. 163, money will flow right back to ACORN on November 1st.

Even if Congress passes its appropriations bills before November 1st, unless they include that language, ACORN will be eligible for funding again. And, remember in that case, the language has to be in all of the bills. There are 12 appropriations bills, each funding different government agencies and programs. Adding the prohibition language to, say, the Transportation funding bill doesn’t stop ACORN from accessing Housing funds.

And, even if Congress were to include that language in all 12 appropriations bills, that ACORN-prohibition language would expire on September 30th – the final day of Fiscal Year 2010.

The only way to ensure that ACORN is barred from federal funds across the board and for more than a brief time is for the White House to suspend and bar ACORN from federal funds. It doesn’t have to take an act of Congress.

I opt for them to simply close down.

I vote for an inditement, trial and conviction where they have to disclose E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G including getting all the money into a big pile (yes the embezeled million too) and see who/what/where/when and then go after all of them too.

If barry comes up a little too often in acorn's books well I'm all for a special prosecutor!

Well I was wrong.
I had thought and was seeing the media starting to turn on bo and company.
With the white house's attack and persecution of Fox and the Chamber of Commerce, it looks like the media is right back in line with bo.
The main media is not only not reporting the story on ACORN, they are intentionally burying it.

I knew Bo wouldn't let his beloved Acorn go down the drain. I watched Chris Mathews for a minute last night and the tingle is still running up his leg. They should just get a room. When The Us is dead broke, we really need to be spending billions on scumbag leaches like Acorn. The only thing they are working on is redistribution of the wealth. Where is Joe the plumber when you need him?

The rest of the media will start turning on BO again once they realize fox is getting even better ratings because of all this. They are sheep for money.

I'm watching that situation also and yes I agree they will.
However, bo and company only need 2 maybe 3 months.

not really if fox gets bumped and things go bad there will still be media just controlled media i think the other stations are scared of ob and this situation we are going to be in, who knows something don't make sense

White house just tried to nix fox news from a interview.
They invited ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN and a couple others to interview the pay czar (I think it was the pay czar) and specifically excluded Fox. I think it was a trial ballon by the white house to drop Fox from the white house press pool.

Too bad the other media saw the hand writing on the wall and informed the White House that if Fox was excluded, there would be no interview.
The other networks may be in the tank for bo, but even they know that what comes around goes around and they might be next.

The white house backed off and Fox was granted the same time slot for an interview as the rest.

I think the white house has discovered their ploy is backfiring. All the programs they were crying about have gone up in ratings, Fox news is set to surpass NBC News in dayly viewership (which would be a first in history).

Yes that was kind of a bad mistake and they are making lots of them. One big mistake is that crude goes up every day. If it would get to at least 150 a bbl by next October it would be just right.

What a lot of people have to remember.
Bo said he thinks gas needs to be 5 dollars a gallon.
Why?
To force people to conserve and change their ways.
THat's the way this turd thinks.
So 150 a barrel would prob. be fine with him.
It will gut his party, but be fine with him.
