ac to poo

k its 70 degrees and im bored probably like a lot of people but ive been on a m7 for the last couple of years just got a new dragon 800. had about 5 minutes of seat time on my buddies dragon 700
i feel like i could do anything whatever i needed on the m7 really easy to ride

dragon felt really close to the m but not enough time to tell a lot of difference just played around in a the pow.

has anyone owned a m7 or m8 and jumped to a dragon? what do you think? whats easier and more comfortable.

not really looking for brand junkie oppinions i dont care who makes it i just went through a lot of a arms on the m7 and taking the pipes off just to get to the plugs, who designed that..

I ride an m and my partner rides a dragon. I have spent some time on the dragon and as far as power goes, it was good. Good response, nice trail ride. What I don't care for is how easy it is to tip. It is so rolly that I have a hard time keeping it in control. Reminded me when the summit x's first hit the market and what they felt like compares to my 1997 700 poo. I like the little more stable footprint of the m-sled while still maintaining the ease of throwing it around.

The balance point is going to be different on the Poo vs the cat. After you spend a little time on the Poo it will become instinctive. The M is a real good machine in the deep, very nimble but it suffers on the trail getting to the good stuff. The Poo's suspension is much more forgiving and is still very nimble in the powder. When you first make the switch you may roll the Polaris over accidentally but then you will correct for that and find that at the end of the day you can ride longer with less fatigue. Both A/C and Poo's run the efi so you won't notice a big difference in throttle pull or throttle response - they're both really good. Enjoy the new sled!!
