AC to DC

Want to power a Cyclops Solstice Helmet Light from the sled, but need DC power to do so. From what I understand the accessory plug by the steering column is AC on a 2011 M8. Any ideas or solutions cheaper than the $200 Arctic Cat DC Power Kit (p/n 5639-258)?

Was looking at this one from Koso but it is only good to 0.5amps/6W and I'm guessing the helmet light will draw more than that (still waiting to hear back from Cylcops).

Red wire with blue stripe is DC. I always just splice in at the CCU/voltage reg. at the nose of the sled

Go to radio shack and get a bridge rectifier (thats all that the $200 dollar cat part is), should be under $5. It will change ac current to dc current. It is tough to get a real clean DC current sometimes but I found that they work for most things.
