I bought the Trailtech Voyager GPS snow kit for my 2011 Arctic Cat M8. But it requires 12v DC to function and as I understand it, sleds produce AC. Googling says it should produce "at least" 30V. Is this true?
I went to Amazon and looked up AC to DC 12v converters and the ones I found are for 10-28V, not 30+.
Does anybody know of a converter that will work for this? Otherwise I guess my best option is to solder a USB end onto the power cord and plug it into one of those rechargeable batteries. Then that complicates things even further because I have to decide where to put that on top of how to mount the GPS itself.
Thanks.
