I think I read somewhere that Brian Johnson is at risk of total hearing loss should he continue to tour with the band and that they are putting Axl Rose in his place?

Can't miss this. I wonder if they also considered Steven Tyler?

I'm interested to see how this goes.
If he does his best to keep the vocals true to the original sound it could be good.
But I'm afraid that the stupid bastard will try to compliment everything with his own signature sound.
If that is the case, I hope the crowds throw feces at him.

Axhole will be dead by the end of august! If not, he'll be kicked out by one band or the other! Either way, I might just have to make an AC/DC venue part of my summer plans! Before August that is!

With all the AC/DC tribute bands, there must be someone who would be a better fit.

As far as Axel & GnR goes.....
Appetite For Destruction was such a great album.
But they totally failed after that.
I wouldn't give the corn in my poop to see them live.

If you look in a dictionary for "Band ruined by success" you will find a picture of these azz clowns.

I agree, very sad times for AC/DC. Axel will for sure try to put his spin on it.

Just listened to a short clip of Thunderstruck w/Axel on vocals.
Not as bad as I thought, I have to admit.

Almost a little bit of Johnson & a little bit of Scott if you allow yourself to imagine it.

Ok, over the weekend I searched out all the audio clips I could find, and I have come to the conclusion that I don't care for AC/DC w/Axle at vocals.
I would honestly rather hear the band play the music with NO VOCALS.
He adds zero value to the product.
In fact, he de-values the product.

I have a friend who knows a lot about music, he will not sugar coat it or feel obligated to justify what he paid for a ticket in talking them up. He said Axl put on a great show and is a perfect fit for AC DC. He absolutely killed it.
