ABS safe for cold air intake?

I have been messing around with my cold air intake, and trying to make something that's simple, durable and hood installation/removal isn't an issue. I have made a ABS pipe work, and it does everything well but I'm concerned about heat. It's fairly close to the turbo, as its clamped directly to the inlet tube. Has anyone taken temperature readings with a heat gun when the turbos heated up?

I believe ABS is ok up to approx 100 Celsius.

Should be fairly similar to the stock plastic 90 you removed. I would think it would be ok

I have a pvc intake on my sled. Should be fine. If it is getting hot enough to melt you have bigger issues.

LOL, good point! I'm going to change it out to CPVC as it has a slightly higher max. temp range just to be safe! Thanks for the input!

Take the turbo off then wont be heat issue with PVC.
