ABS Backpacks and Storage questions?

I'm looking to order an ABS backpack online, how much gear are you guys fitting in the 15L? Or is the 30L the only way to go?:beer;

Take a look.....

We ride the 30's. If I had it to do over, i would go with the Vario. Freeride for the local stuff that I know like the back of my hand, and a 15 or 30 for new areas or being lost/stuck in a hole and overnight is a possibility. Having the ability to switch it up looks like a good deal. This link Clicky shows some examples of typical contents for both. Good luck. EW

Thanks, thats exactley what I was looking for!:beer;

What are you planning on all taking. I can take mostly all of the stuff I personally would need in my freeride pack.

I ride with the Vario 15 model. I can hold my shovel and handle, , sandwich, multiple granola bars, 2 extra pair of gloves, camera, GPS, 2 pair of goggles, wallet, cell phone, knife, matches, and extra socks in mine without any difficulty.

Yea I pack about the same plus a few drinks, first aid kit, my second layer usually ends up in the bag too. Looks like I may be going with the vario 30. Thanks for all the replies!:beer;

Yeah I pack a couple powerades too, forgot. But yeah cant go wrong with the 30, and if you decide to go 15 you can just get the 15 pack and zip it onto the frame. Make sure to use the lube they give you for the trigger handle connection or itll freeze up pretty easily.
