ABS Backpack Info?

Anyone have any first hand experience with the ABS Backpack? Or know anyone that has? I promised myself i would get one last year after what happened at Turny. I've checked prices and they want almost $1100 for the new Escape 30 but they do have a cheaper one. Not sure if its worth spending a few hundred bucks or just smart marketing. Any insight will help!

Also, someone said they aren't as boyant in Alaska because of the extremely dense snow? It actually makes sense though.

They work like a charm. I was in Palmer creek and a bud has the escape 15 Same model i have and pulled the cord in really wet snow. He was on top of the slide with in 2 seconds and we could never take our eyes off him.

I got mine from Boostboner on here for 600 new. Check around you can find a good deal.

AB Pack

I have one. Won't ride without it. I have never had to use it but you can't argue with facts and videos. I can't remember the model I have, but it is the medium size pack with dual airbags. It is very high quality and well made. It is just a bit on the big side and maybe a little heavy. But if I were to buy another one I would get the same model. The small one, (15) just seamed to small. Mine I have plenty of room for some extras- gloves, food and beer. I got it from Sno Big Deal in Utah a couple of years ago and I think it was about $700. I know that they have gone up in price since then. The guy name is Mark and there was no problem with the shipping. Back then it was really hard to get the canisters shipped. Really, really hard!! Look into it, but I think that something got changed, or certified so now it is a little easier.

You will ot be disappointed.
