How often do you test your bag? .... Blow it off every year and get a new canister or just weigh it?

Just test it once when you first get it. When you first get your canister, weigh it and write the weight on the canister. You can then weigh your canister again later to ensure that the canister hasn't changed weight.

What's the nominal weight of one of those canisters; and what weight resolution do you need in a scale to determine if there's a problem? Upper/lower weight limits?
