Best weekend ride of the year, stupid amount of POW, this place is now my favorite, its so open you can boondock in the trees at WOT.......we took some pics on sunday (the ride back home).....the areas we rode on FRI/SAT had over the helmet POW!!

Im purty sure i found a place to build a cabin:)

Side Note - two XPs in the group blew a drive shaft, mine will get a fat weld as soon as its out of the shop, blew the chain case the first day, dont want to talk about it, rode the 06 Summit and ran out of gas three times, had to get towed twice, that deepness drinks the fuel......and i never stop

I rode my other sled this day, most XPs are blowing belts, just buy a couple spares and take the blown ones to a dealer, BRP is giving us new belts (no questions asked)....now thats customer service. My alighment appears good, not that BRP has any numbers to referance....and they are giving everyone a 19 top gear a shorter chain if the customer wants it......i do!!

And i got a new in the box 44/33 helix if anyone wants it ($100).....it works much better, the straight 42 stock helix is junk, no back shift and takes too much time to upshift(commen cents if you understand a simple clutch).....i also loaded up to 19 grams of pin weight with the stock TRA spring, it really needs a softer spring with 23ish grams IMO....the sec on this XP is solid, takes a 10lb dead blow to get it out and adding or removing shim is no easy task......hope they give us a floating shaft of some kind, would be nice, and moving the engine to for alignment is a joke.......none the less, ill deal with these issues until i find a sled that can rock like this

good (253 belt)

we need to go riding again!

We went up Tony Grove yesterday, and the snow was still very good & deep. I forgot the camera, or I'd have some pictures to post. One of the best days so far this year. Dress warm, it was -10 in the parking lot when we got there.

Was up at Tony Grove yesterday, lots of snow and pure blue skies, powder
was just ok, all logs and rocks had plenty of snow on them (except the bus
size rocks) for the good powder we went down into horseshoe canyon
(white pines lake) it was awesome!! powder over the hood, had to use carb heaters for first time -15 at parking lot, trail to lake was real good compared to how it can get, you could go about 70 mph, so the 7 miles wasn't bad at all. Real good powder in the trees, ok powder everywhere else, very good
base with snotel reporting about 75 inches.
