About to Buy a 16' should I just wait for the 17'?

Long story short, rode the new chassis at dealer demo day and became hooked. Dealer is giving me a price on my 14' I cant refuse, so im going to take the Axys plunge.

However with the 17' model is being revealed in under a week, think the 17' is worth the wait? Also contemplating snowcheck...Thoughts?

I can't see there will be much difference between the 2016 and the 2017. Maybe better A-arms.

Killer rebates on 16's right now. It is up to you, but i doubt anything but BNG's will be coming in 17, although that could be wrong. Unfortunately the current rebates are only good until the day before the release, the way I understand it. Personally I would go with a 16 and take advantage of the rebates

Warranty

If warranty is important to you, you may want to wait and snowcheck a 2017. Anything you buy now is probably an in-season model and won't have the optional 4 year warranty you can get at snowcheck time. Not to mention at snowcheck you get to chose your color and options (i.e. handlebar height).

I'd buy now. Once snowcheck starts most dealers won't trade in unless its a year old and they under value it quite a bit.

Im going to wait to see what comes out for 17, just because if i don't do the snow check i now i will be able to either find a used 16 with the warranty or and a better deal.

I'm waiting to see what Monday brings. If its nothing game changing I will go deal on a floor model 16' and ride it this season yet. Doo stepped up the game but I've tried to ride them and just don't feel comfortable on them. Going to give Poo another run after wrecking my 13' this season. Hopefully the Axys is everything they say it is.

Doo tempts me. But reading some of the posts from the Doo guys is making me re-think things a bit. Lots of almost hate going on there.

I plan on waiting until next week to see what snowcheck brings. I've snowchecked 3 machines now and haven't felt like that was a bad idea yet.

There are some KILLER deals on used stuff right now!

I may be wrong but I think you can still add a 3 year warranty on an in season model. Of course its likes another $300-$400

If you don't have a trip planned this weekend already then I would wait and see what they release for '17. If it's nothing earth shattering, you can wait until Polaris releases the new promo deals on March 1st and see if you can get a '16 for an even better deal than you can get now...

If you need a sled now, then just snatch up a '16. Im thinking it's going to be some standard refinements and BNGs for '17. If they do upgrade something, it will more than likely be transferable to the '16... My .02

I'd buy the 16 all day long. Pay thousands less for a sled that in a couple years will be worth almost the same money. From a money stand point it's a no brainer.

Have not found deals under what I paid for my snowcheck otd. Plus I got to choose colors, painted tunnel rails and spindles, handlebar height and 4 year warranty.

Your dealer must give you one heck of a deal on your snowchecks! One of my riding buds just totaled his 15 and bought a new 16 for less than he paid for the 15.

Usually around dealer invoice plus tax. Plus not all dealers are willing to take a loss this time of the year. Weird I know.

I know where 2 axys sks es sleds are in mich... dealer told me they are not going to flex on pricing. this was last Saturday at 60* and no snow. yes, we are getting snow today but, after Friday... no below freezing temps forecasted for the next 10 days. Lynne burnt her 09 m8 down the previous weekend, I was ready to sign on the line, She wanted an axys (actually prefers the 600, was riding them in Oregon with the other girls). I ask is, make me a deal... and you won't pay for the floor plan, and interest ANY MORE. Ski

What dealer is this? Cheapest '16 I have found is $10,370 for a floor 155" that's no tax but includes everything else
