? about air shock fitment

I am looking at installing fox air shocks on a 2004 Rev, Summit. The air shocks are 17" center to center and the shocks that are presently on the Rev measure 16.5" center to center. The previous owner of the sled told me it had an MXZ front end under it, but I do not know that for sure.

My question is; will the 17" shocks mount and work as they are supposed to even though they are .5" longer than what is on the sled now?

They will work. I've run them for 4 years. 25-30psi.
