I was running through the channels yesterday and CNN was talking about how unprepared she was. They said "when Gibson asked her if she agreed with the Bush Doctrine, she didn't even know what it is". I saw that part and she asked Gibson for clarification of the Bush Doctrine. I didn't think that looked too good until I was watching O'Reilly. I forget who his guest was but he was saying that there is no "Bush Doctrine". Not in the same sense as the Monroe Doctrine. The media has one thing they call the Bush Doctrine, The Democrats another and yet another for the Repubs. No wonder Palin asked for clarification.

That's funny, she should have asked him for a copy of the official Bush doctrine. Then grilled him on what he thought the bush doctrine was.

Sounds like she handled the hypothetical document fairly well.

They chit their pants when Palan walked out as his VP. Pretty much blew them out of the water. Now they have to attack her as much as possible while not seeming to attack her for being a women.

The news orgs thought they had Obama in the bag, now they are trying to destroy the republicans before they get any momentum. When McCain anounced his VP the news was a bomb. All attention switched from Obama to her. All the polls are showing that McCain with that one action took the 10-12 points he was behind and he now leads 2-5 points across the nation.

The news orgs have got to REALLY amp up the attacks if they are to reverse this.
Fox commisioned a national poll and found someinteresting things. Like all the attacks against Palin are backfiring. She is seen as stronger and more capable as the attacks ramp up. As for Opra, she is in trouble with her viewers for refusing to allow Palin on her show.

I hope you guys realize that basically every new source is going to put a skewed view on everything, especially politics. Its all about ratings, they will make the story look however they want as long as they get good ratings.

Take a look at the war in Iraq, people want to see tragedy so thats what the news delivers. But just ask a soldier who was over there what is actually happening and you will get a completely different view.

I looked forward to the Tina Fey "Palin" sketch all week.

It's not about ratings, its about pushing a liberal agenda. If the major networks were more fair and balanced, their ratings would increase just for the simple fact they would not alienate more than half the country.

The only news channel I watch is Fox News...fair and balanced How many other networks have shows like Hannity and Colmes? ABC, CNN, and NBC are a joke! Totally one-sided. If a person watches each station(3 above) for 10 minutes(relating to the election), and can't tell there is a biased push, he/she must seek medical attention ASAP Look what NBC had to do; demote their top two. I say let them show their stupidity so that the "right" side will become more clear! The media has already decided who won the war. Very sad At least there are a few people with common sense left and they seem to be on Snowest for the most part
