This is a very good write up this guy did on some of the newest beacons, the Pulse, S1 (this is the new flip phone from Ortovox), and one other. BUT lots of the info can be carried over to many other beacons. Its very interesting the interference he finds thats created from devices many of us carry all the time like cell phones and iPods. Sooooo it should rethink some of you carrying these if they will throw of rescuers looking for you or vice versa.
