A story from cooke

Picture235.jpg

Mmmmmm. Hot Pockets?

Sled chicks rule!

Well maybe that has something to do with the fact that I'm the best rider. :D

I was wondering when you would make some comment about that picture, still can't believe how many guys you had going with that.

That wasn't me. You must be thinking of somebody else?

I'm confused.
I thought Lee admitted to being WYSteph.
Lee are you talking to yourself again or is this actually your sister this time??

It's my sister... (I forgot to change the email for her account after I guessed her password, so she went back in and changed it.) I was kidding about the "not me" comment.

Wasn't there high avy danger in cook last week end? If so the safest thing to do was to only have one sled on the slope at a time. If we use this rule all of the time it will be safer for all of us. Do any of us have exculsive rights to a slope just because they get there first? As for using the same track-I wouldn't-but how each of us has fun is our own business.

I agree tcatpat!!

What the hell are you an tcatpat b!tching about? You pay a one time fee for a perm. sticker. The non residents pay $25/year. I have been riding Cooke City for 25 years and don't mind sharing one bit with non-residents. I'll be riding with some Iowa guys later this week and then a group from MN and ND over New Years. Alot of them are more friendly/courteous than some of the "Big Sky Residents I have come across".

Edit; as for tcp's comment about right-to-work states. I though you extreme left wing union guys were all supporters of the Schweitzers, Testers, Clintons etc. who all hate sledders. You better sell your sled if having a union protected wage is important to you. Before you bash me as a union hater this is coming from a member of one if not the biggest organized group of workers (United Steel Workers) and son of a retired Mail Handlers Local VP. I would rather work two jobs if needed and still have areas open to sled than support the ones that are after our public lands yet claim to be on the side of the working man.

Well Tcatpat I see you do not like Non residence People? Get over it!! My familiy has a place in Cooke City, and Our Buisneses entertains people there and our family brings alot of people there... the Locals and the Buisnesies love to see our family in town.....We spend Lots money Snowmobiling and Atving. So if you are complaing about big sky and Cooke ,,,Maybe you should move to a liberal state you CHEAP BAST@rd

Hey Aug! Are you a magician that has had some of your tricks stolen? Cause it says that you hate trick poachers.:D:p:confused:

WOW, too bad we all can't get along!!! To someone that is reading this post, let me throw my 2 cents in.

......The guy that almost hit Aug needs/needed to apologize. First mistake was being on the hill as the same time as another. GOLDEN RULE of sledding. Haven't we lost enough friends in avy's?

....and I read someone wrote the avy danger wasn't there. B.S. Practice safe riding.

....Secondly, if the guy was a decent guy, he would have ridden down, said sorry for almost running over you, and moved on.

.....Just my opinion from a guy that has never ridden Cooke, but have traveled through Montana, and Wyoming, and have been in the Minneapolis airport once, so my opinion counts!!!!!!
