A quick question, please read.

Why is it that the same questions and topics are brought ip over and over again? Some days 3-5 people will ask the same question that is 3 posts down from their new post. Examples being bumper questions, slp pipe questions, intake questions, etc.... Then there is some good info in a post that gets buried 2 pages back in a half a day due to all the same questions being asked all the time. Why is this?

I can say that most of the time the questions different just a little. Sometimes people just dont get what there looking for. And as far as good information! Everyone finds good information different sometimes, depends what your looking for! Dont mean to be rude, but everyone has there right to ask a question.

I'd say 20% of threads have been posted (nearly EXACT question) within the last month, heck most of time within the last week.

There is a FAQ sticky at the top of the m series page I just dont think many people, especially new users dont visit it...broken up by sled and sometimes years. I dont mind answering the same question over here and there, but the same question 3 times in the same day does get old.

It appears to me that at least some of the repetition is from newbies who don't know (or know how) to search for the question before asking it again.

Easy, 3 peeps could ask the same question and it would be understood 3 diff ways. What does it matter? Its an informative website and Ive learnt everything from SW and proud of it............

Use to bother me, not anymore. Most times new peps are just trying to be part of the group and easy questions are a way in. Most of us did it too, me think. If ya don't like it don't respond.

Half the time it's because the "original" thread had some obscure title like "A quick question, please read." which is easily glanced over.

On a side note, I resisted the temptation to start another thread to mock this one. It was not easy.

Yep, the search function sucks.

For instance, I search 'bra' and get no hits, but 'SnoPro bra' gives me all kinds of hits.

You guys are right the search does suck. If I am curious about something i just look at the first tthru third page, you can normally find what you are looking for within those pages. I wasn't trying to piss anyone of or single anyone out I was just curious. Sorry to post such a useless thread.
