A positive Klim warranty experience

I just wanted to post this up to show not all Klim warranty experiences are bad. I have read a lot of negative on here, in this case my experience was positive. Obviously, it would have been better if they wouldn't have failed in the 1st place, but whatever.
I had 2 different pairs of Klim Powerxross gloves that I bought over the last 2 years. They both ripped out on the seam right by the the thumb, same exact place on both pair. I wasn't going to bother with warranty because I didn't think it would pay from all the negative I read on here, but I figured what the heck, I'll try it. I call up, the lady on the other end of the line takes my info, gives me a claim# and says send 'em in. 8 days later I get a call back saying that my new gloves are in the mail and will receive "updated" ones with a full leather palm. I received them yesterday and they look much better than the originals. I'm pretty satisfied.

cheers!!!!

I've had one or two warranty claims and they took care of me just fine.

Thumbs up.

I had the same thing on a new style glove between two fingers. Klim replaced them no problem. I appreciate good customer service.:face-icon-small-coo

I tore a very small (less than a 1/4") hole in my jacket. I took it into them to repair it.
They told me that it would be a $50 charge to section that area out and replace it. I thought that was a good deal to keep a great coat and have it maintain the water proofness (is that a word?)
They called me back a week later and told me that after they had inspected it, that the goretex liner had a problem and they were replacing it under warranty for free.
How can you beat that? I sent them the jacket for a problem I created and they informed me of a different problem and are replacing it for free.

I had an identical experience with a pair of bibs.

Turbo I had the exact same problem with the exact same glove so I sent the gloves to Klim, the nice lady at Klim that called me said that they were going to replace my gloves. 4-5 days later I got MY torn gloves back in the mail with a note saying the warranty was denied. I had the earlier style gloves too. Next time can I send my gloves to you for warranty? lol. I did get a PM from KLIM about my negative post, super nice guy. Told me to send my other gloves in because they had begun to leak bad. So I did, hope that one goes more my way. I work retail for a living so I get both sides of the warranty issue, not sure why we had such different treatment though...
