A little clutching help please on an Apex Mtn.

Well I finally bit the bullet and bought an 06 Apex today. Its stock other than an after market exhaust that vents under the tunnel. The clutching was changed to ride in the flats and I need to redo it for the mountains. I will be riding between 6000 to 8000 ft. Can someone give me a good start as to what rivets etc should go in and what springs. Also where to set the back spring. The weights are all stock but I want to be close when I get out there so I dont have to mess around during the day. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

The Yamaha dealer will have the clutching chart. Would be nice if they had it in the manual. They come stock set for 8-10000 I believe. Mine had a yellow pink yellow primary with 2 rivets and I added the heavier rivet to the 3rd hole and ride I would say more in the 4-6000 range. Seconday was left stock. On the trail it revs high but on the hill it's in that 10300 range. If someone has some better stock clutching setup I would also like to hear what works the best.

The service manual says for 6000 to 8500 foot elevation, Yellow Pink Yellow primary spring, 8FS00 weights with 13.3 gram rivets in all three holes, secondary set on 70 degrees. Oh and white spring in secondary. Course thats for the Apex Mtn, if its a short track it'll be different.
