Was supposed to be a kids ride....Pecos has his little girl on with him, there were two kids on small quads, and their folks on big quads....and me. After I got wet in the first little slough, I just nailed every muck hole on the rest of the trail!

The camera is a Gopro Hero.....2 gig card fits inside (50 min of vid I think) and seems to run forever on 1 AA battery. Has a nice indistructable, waterproof enclosure and decent mounts.....and thats mainly what ya pay for as the camera itself is a really cheap looking plastic thing. I want to try a Vholdr camera next.

No chicken trails for me! (just at the beginning when I had full intentions of just filming the kids) This was at Southfork. Me and the 3 kids were wearing helmets. Pecos has regressed and the other two never wear them. I preach....but nobody listens. Besides....I never felt like gluing a helmet cam mount to my head!

I watched it again with Krista and I recognized the trail, have rode it many times. It's good on the other side of the tracks as well. I did figure you had a helmet on, but tell Jeff I'm disappointed in him, lol. What was that little quad the one child was riding, it looked like a Grizzly 125? I need to get a machine for my 11 year old and that looked like a good size. Is it 2wd or 4wd?

Capt Jack: the smaller kids quad is a Griz 125...2wd. Pecos' boy has one as well. Seems like a good machine, but he would have better imput on this. The other kid was riding a Polaris 200 (Phoenix?) with Mudlites on the back....it works real well.

Gimpster: after monkeying with my own snorkles on several machines over the years, I found these ones from East Coast Snorkles. I put them on and Pecos and another buddy followed suit. Very clean install and still allows full use of the front rack.

Thanks Dave, I never looked at the other kids machine but I was also thinking of a Phoenix for her as well. I don't know if you heard but I bought a Renegade and I really like it. I put a set of 26" XTR's on it and it's unbelievable where it will go. That one hole you were in where you had to really rock it to get through between the pipe line and the tracks there. Last year we were stuck in there for about an hour..........................you rocked it through in about 35 seconds. I can hardly wait to get in there with the Renegade now.
