A+ Justin at Code Red and BD turbo!

Took My 2010 M8 snopro with kinda a hybrid RG/pump gas turbo out yesterday on it's maiden voyage. Very few minor issues that I will solve as soon as I gain a bit more knowledge. It has the fuel up grade kit but no intercooler. We were in a couple feet of fresh powder all day and had zero problems climbing anything I pointed it at. I was still on the conservative side since I am breaking in a new motor...ha...ha...but I was running AV gas at 6.7 lbs of boost. Base DC was set at zero. Alt comp at zero. I noticed no issues with lag in very tight terrain. Zero indication of any bog with the tunnel dump working flawlessly. Power was controlable, linear...to holy cow! Clutches remained luke warm and accurate.

Never an issue with customer support. I was able to get all questions answered quickly and the kit went together great.

If you are mulling a turbo...Just do it. It is as close to plug and play as a modified snowmobile can be.

I second your notion. Justin has been great. I will definitely buy from him again. BD started out less than stellar this year, but has stepped up and made everything right just in time. I have called in about 5 times and always get someone to talk to. I think they were a bit over ambitous this year, but no one else comes up with anything new other than shinier parts and "ours is better" marketing....

I have about 8 days riding on my new 09 M8 with PG kit and I am very pleased so far. Runs solid, pulls great, numbers are safe, pistons look good, only minor issues unrelated to BD. I have not put the EBC on yet and actually like the manual boost T setup a lot (KISS principle). Next trip will be with EBC and a few tweaks. Clutching was a tad off, but thats personal preference. 8.5 lbs at 9000ft+ at 90-92%DC, so I am still pretty safe.

So far it seems a lot easier than any BB kit I have been around.

Are you running the boondocker clutch set up Pernikim?

not sure, Justin at code red sent me clutching so it is either boondocker or Code red's set up. I cant remember the weight but it looks like a CPC purple spring on the primary, cats orange spring on the secondary, and a CPC helix. The helix is clearly a reverse from what we normally see. It looks like it will let it rev a bit early and then load the turbo as it clutches out. I can verify tomorrow. I am about 7800 rpm, but I am in the check out stage running minimum boost. when I turn it up to about 10 psi, I am expecting a little higher.
